Thanksgiving Holiday Hours of Operation and Refuse Collection Schedule
Sanibel City Hall offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday & Friday, November 27 & 28, 2008. The offices will resume regular hours on Monday, December 1, 2008.
All garbage, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Waste Pro scheduled for Thanksgiving Day will be one day later. Therefore, if your normal pick-up day is Thursday, November 27, 2008 your waste will be picked up Friday, November 28, 2008. The altered schedule will remain in place for the remainder of the week. The normal waste collection schedule will resume Monday, December 1, 2008.
The Recreation Center will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, 2008, and resume regular hours on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call the Recreation Center at (239) 472-0345.
The City of Sanibel Civic Center will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving, Thursday & Friday, November 27 & 28, 2008. The Civic Center will resume regular hours on Monday, December 1, 2008.
The After School Recreation Program will not operate in observance of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, November 26, 27, & 28, 2008 and will resume on Monday, December 1, 2008. The Sanibel Recreation Center “Fun Days” program will be available on Wednesday, November 26 & Friday, November 28, 2008 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Registration is $20 per child per Fun Day for Recreation Center members and $25 per child for non-members.
