Maryanne Daly & Jerry Edelman and Barefoot Charley's Painting & Laura join our New Year's Eve Sponsors.
Maryanne Daly and Jerry Edelman, 1119 Periwinkle Way, are Sanibel residents who actively participate in numerous Island activities and causes. Jerry, Kiwanian and Secretary of Kiwanis, can be found at B.I.G. Arts firing up his kiln where he makes a myriad of pottery items. Maryanne volunteers at FISH, B.I.G. Arts, and works at the Bailey- Matthews Shell Museum where she can assist you at the front desk or in the gift shop. Jerry is well cared for by lovely Maryanne who is a gourmet chef.
The sign that exerciser Jerry and comforting Maryanne are holding is $135.
Barefoot Charley’s Painting is owned and operated by Charley Ball. This painting establishment began in 1999. If you got it, Charley and his crew can paint it. Everyone who knows Charley and his wife Laura are familiar with their numerous charitable contributions made on this Island. Check out the recently painted dug outs at the Sanibel School baseball field. You can also see Laura’s artistically designed coconuts in seven stores on the Island. Laura is one of our dedicated employees at the Post office so please say “hi” and thank her and Charlie for supporting this program. This couple also has a great fondness for SCCF and CROW.
The sign displayed with Charley and Laura who are always on the ball is $195.
You can become a sponsor by purchasing a 24 x 32 sign for $195 or a 24 x 18 sign for $135. Signs may be purchased anonymously. Proceeds from the sale of signs help our island worker so their children can attend the City of Sanibel Recreation After School Program, fun days at the Center when school is closed and summer camp at the Center.
For more information please call Events Chairman Barry Alan Roth, 239-313-9591, a Kiwanian and Life Time Member of the Recreation Center or Crystal Mansell, Executive Assistant to the City Manager at 472-3700.
